The Digital Media Arts class at GST BOCES Wildwood Campus spent much of the school year producing a promotional video for the Hornell City School District.
Under the direction of their instructor, Gary Acker, students recorded video from all of the district’s schools throughout the year. In the spring, students edited the video to produce the final version, which is available to view above.
DMA students Macy Weinman and Merissa Bonilla were the team leaders on the project, Acker said. Rebecca Bacon, Anna Colomaio and Kayla Eason also worked on the team. He said the project gave his students hands-on experience in video production.
"The Hornell City School District is grateful that Mr. Acker and his students were able to collaborate with us to create this video," said Superintendent Jeremy Palotti. "We are thrilled with the finished product and how it points to the great things happening here in the Hornell City School District!"
Together, preparing students for their future.
