I attended Hornell CSD from Kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating in 2001.

I have two children who are currently at the High School, Kolby is a Sophomore and Riley is an 8th grader.

I have lived in Hornell my entire life.

I attended Alfred State and Alfred University where I earned degrees in Early Childhood/Childhood Education and Literacy. I then went on to SUNY Brockport for my CAS in Educational Administration. I was an elementary classroom teacher for 11 years. I am currently the Elementary Principal and Director of Pupil Services for Belfast Central School.

I wanted to become a Board member in order to have a direct connection and impact on the education that is provided here in Hornell. I hope to use my experience as a teacher and an administrator to help the BOE make sound, educational decisions for the students in our district.

I grew up in Hornell, and returned to the area about 12 years ago. I have been involved in law enforcement for 28 years. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I was born and raised in Hornell and I am a 1997 graduate of HHS. I have four children who attend the District. Brennan - a Junior, Liam - a Freshman, Sheamus - 7th grade, & Maura - 4th grade. I earned a Bachelor's degree from Alfred State College in Business Administration/Technology Management.

I have worked for the Arkport Central School District for the past 15 years having served in the role of District Clerk/Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools for 13 years, and currently serve in the role of Human Resources Manager since 2017.

I was interested in becoming a board member because I am very involved in my children's education. I also believe that with the overall experience in my educational career, as well as in my current role, I will add value by bringing forth a different perspective to the team. I look forward to working with the Superintendent and the Board as a whole, in continuing to make the best decisions on behalf of the school community and all of the children in the district.
